Sourced from the lush highlands of Aceh, Takengon, this distinctive single origin coffee is produced by the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB), a cooperative known for its commitment to quality and traditional craftsmanship. Grown at elevations of 1,100–1,600 meters, these beans develop deep, complex flavors shaped by the region’s rich volcanic soil and humid climate.
In the cup, this coffee delivers a bold and comforting profile with medium acidity and a rich, syrupy body. Layers of dark chocolate and dried fruit unfold alongside classic earthy undertones, leading to a long, lingering finish that stays with you well after the last sip.
Processed using Giling Basah (wet-hulling)—a hallmark of Sumatran coffee—this method enhances body and depth while creating the unmistakable character Sumatra is famous for. Featuring a blend of Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varietals, this coffee offers a full, grounding experience that’s both complex and deeply satisfying—perfect for those who appreciate richness, depth, and tradition in every cup.
